You decide, and Section 4 writes it down: who applies, who pays the fee and whether it is inside the price, who schedules inspections, who meets the inspector, what happens if an inspection fails because of your work or a pre-existing condition, and who pays a re-inspection fee in each case.
No. The model electrical code is not reproduced or paraphrased anywhere in it. Section 1.2 records which edition the authority over the job address has adopted and its local amendments, filled in per job, and the agreement commits the work to that.
Section 5 records what was visible at the walkthrough, then sets out in advance how the client is told and how quickly, whether work stops, how the extra work is priced, whether a change order is needed first, and whether a circuit may be left de-energised for safety.
Section 9 sets the number to call and its hours, how quickly you respond and attend a non-urgent or a no-power callback, what a callback costs inside warranty and if the fault is not yours, and whether the client is told that charge before you attend. An eight-row callback log sits behind it.
