The agreement says plainly that no plant, lawn or tree is guaranteed to live, and lists the reasons explained to the customer in advance. It also records what was there first: a 44-line condition survey signed before the first cut, and a named list of the specimens the customer would be upset to lose, each photographed.
Section 4.1 is ticked line by line — mowing, varying the pattern, trimming and edging and the rest — and a blank line means not included. A visit log sits behind it.
Section 10 records what is known to be buried, whether the customer has told you everything and has a plan, and whether irrigation heads, the invisible fence line and lighting cable have been located and marked, by whom and when. A sprinkler head damage log follows.
